Enters into formal agreements with other organizations to allow mutual participation in events, enabling APEX members to attend external events and visitors from partner organizations to attend APEX events.

Enables cross-participation in events by forming reciprocity agreements with external organizations, allowing APEX members to attend partner events and visitors from reciprocal groups to attend APEX events.

Facilitates membership renewal through in-person events, with differentiated processes for members whose memberships expired within the past 24 months versus those requiring reorientation, including paperwork, payment, and orientation video completion.

Facilitates membership renewal for those whose memberships expired less than 24 months ago at APEX events with a door volunteer; requires members expired over 24 months to attend an orientation session involving paperwork, payment, and an orientation video.

Holds annual board meetings each November to appoint officers and directors, and to set membership fees, supporting organizational governance and continuity.

The Community Outreach Committee represents APEX at public events such as Pride and supports public-facing functions including S.I.G.s to engage broader audiences and promote the organization.

Provides structured educational programming on BDSM, including weekly Monday Night classes, EDGE sessions, Weekend Intensives, and other specialty workshops through the Education Committee.

Hosts a range of social activities including Saturday night parties, themed parties, Friday night hosted parties, non-play socials, Special Interest Groups (S.I.G.s), APEX Munch at FEZ, Bowling Socials at AMF Tempe, and BBQ/Open House events open to non-members.

Makes annual reports available to the public via the organization’s website, promoting transparency and accountability.

Provides structured educational classes, including Monday Night classes, EDGEs, and Weekend Intensives, alongside social events such as themed parties, hosted parties, and non-play social gatherings to support learning and community building in a respectful environment.

Runs multiple operational committees including AV/Tech (managing technology and online resources), Community Outreach (representing APEX at public events), Marketing (branding and communications), Operations & Logistics (space maintenance and supply management), and Social Opportunities (event planning), ensuring effective delivery of programs and services.

Manages the organization’s physical and digital infrastructure through dedicated committees: the AV/Tech Committee oversees technology, virtual studios, concierge systems, and websites; the Operations & Logistics Committee maintains space, furniture, and supplies; and the Marketing Committee handles branding, communications, and event promotion.
