IN ADDITION, OVER 35,000 IN PROGRAM FUNDING WENT TO THE PHOENIX PRIDE SCHOLARSHIP FUND, ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE ARIZONA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, FROM WHICH SEVEN 7 5,000 COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AND TWO 2 1,000 ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED TO LOCAL LGBTQ STUDENT APPLICANTS, TOTALING 37,000. STAYING COGNIZANT OF THE ONGOING COVID-19 HEALTH CRISIS, WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO HOLD ONE IN-PERSON EVENT IN 2021, THUS THE COMMUNITY GRANT PROGRAM WAS PUT ON HOLD WITH THE EXPECTATION OF GIVING OUT DOUBLE THE AMOUNT OF GRANTS IN 2022 AND THE 2021 PHOENIX PRIDE AWARDS RECEPTION WAS POSTPONED TO JUNE OF 2022.
