Interjurisdictional Standardization

By establishing standardized processes and fostering trust across jurisdictions, equitable and efficient tax administration is achieved, because consistent rules and cooperative relationships reduce friction, duplication, and disparities in enforcement and workload. This strategy emphasizes harmonizing policies and procedures across different governmental jurisdictions to enable seamless cooperation in tax collection and compliance. It distinguishes itself by focusing on systemic alignment—such as uniform interest rate calculations—rather than unilateral action, thereby promoting fairness, predictability, and shared responsibility among members.
