Provides a range of scholarships to support students in various academic programs, including Culinary Arts, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Water Treatment, Horticulture, Theatre Arts, Music, Psychology, and other fields, with specific scholarships targeting first-generation students, students with financial need, and those facing personal challenges. The Foundation has established endowed and semester-specific scholarships, including the Promise Plus Scholarship, Watton Scholarships, Friends of the East County Arts scholarships, and others.

Provides a wide range of scholarships to support students in specific academic programs and circumstances, including Culinary Arts, Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Water Treatment Operations, Theatre Arts, Music, Psychology transfer, and Ornamental Horticulture. Scholarships also target first-generation college students, those with high transportation costs, and students overcoming personal adversity.

Organizes special events, seminars, and volunteer opportunities for retired faculty and staff from the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, and distributes college updates to keep retirees informed and connected.

Raises financial resources and awareness for Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges through employee giving campaigns, leadership on fundraising committees, and engagement of alumni and donors.

Contributes leadership through service on the Foundation’s board, supports faculty functions, and participates in strategic fundraising and scholarship committee work to advance institutional goals.

Conducts fundraising campaigns and engages alumni to increase financial support and visibility for Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College, including leadership roles in the Promise Plus Scholarship committee and other donor initiatives.
