THE PARRHASIAN HERITAGE FOUNDATION EXISTS TO SUPPORT THE ONGOING EXCAVATION, PRESERVATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF PROJECTS AT THE SANCTUARY OF ZEUS AT MT. LYKAION AS WELL AS ASSOCIATED REGIONAL RESEARCH. IT ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE CREATION OF THE PARRHASIAN HERITAGE PARK, WHICH WILL UNIFY AND PROTECT A LARGE AREA (CA. 550 SQUARE KILOMETERS) IN WESTERN ARCADIA, NORTHERN MESSENIA AND EASTERN ELIS.IN ADDITION, IT WILL PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES, GREECE AND OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD TO CONDUCT RESEARCH AT MY. LYKAION AND IN THE NEIGHBORING AREAS.
