Examples of accomplishments in each of these areas are provided below: (I) VA&R - Service officer assistance to those seeking VA services; emergency funding for active duty and veterans and their family; funding for Honor Flight of AZ; monthly disabled Vet lunch program; and Giving Tree for Veterans with Christmas presents. (II) National Security - Packages for Troops. (III) Americanism - Flag etiquette for elementary schools and scout troops; flags out on holidays; Color/Honor Guard for flag postings and Military Honors memorial services. (IV) Children and Youth - Annual children's Christmas party giving gifts to deserving families; Boys State program.
