THE PROGRAM IN TOTAL SERVES OVER 24,000 MEMBERS STATEWIDE WITH THE DMG LOCATION SERVING APPROXIMATELY 16,000 CHILDREN, INCLUDING TELEMEDICINE VISITS AND FIELD CLINICS SERVING THE OUTLYING COMMUNITIES.THE CRS MULTI-SPECIALTY INTERDISCIPLINARY CLINIC (MSIC) WAS DESIGNED TO UNIQUELY MEET THE HEALTH CARE REQUIREMENTS OF SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN BY OFFERING NEARLY ALL SPECIALTY, PRIMARY CARE, AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES IN A SINGLE LOCATION. THE DMG CRS CLINIC PROVIDES A FULL SPECTRUM OF PEDIATRIC SPECIALTY CARE WHERE PHYSICIANS, THERAPISTS, NUTRITIONISTS, CHILD LIFE SPECIALISTS, SOCIAL WORKERS AND A HOST OF OTHERS CAN ALL WORK TOGETHER PROVIDING VITAL MEDICAL CARE, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE AND SUPPORT SERVICES UNDER ONE ROOF AND ON ONE FLOOR IN A SPACE SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR THIS PURPOSE. THROUGH THE USE OF A SINGLE ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD, THE DMG CRS CLINIC IMPROVES EFFICIENCY AND COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS, WITH THE GOAL OF IMPROVING CARE WHILE BETTER MANAGING COSTS.
