Independent Medical Oversight

By using independent, medically-informed assessors to guide environmental remediation, ensure ethical standards and patient safety are met, because separating assessment from remediation reduces conflicts of interest and improves health outcomes for environmentally sensitive individuals. This strategy prioritizes third-party oversight by Indoor Environmental Professionals (IEPs) who are both independent and trained in medical implications of environmental exposures, ensuring remediation plans are scientifically sound and ethically conducted. Unlike general environmental oversight, it specifically integrates clinical expertise to protect medically vulnerable populations, making it distinct in its focus on health-based criteria and conflict-free evaluation.
