IN THE CATCHMENT AREA WERE 4 COUNTIES, PIMA, YUMA, COCHISE, AND SANTA CRUZ. THEY ALL HAD A CDC SOCIAL VULNERABILITY INDEX AT "HIGH LEVEL OF VULNERABILITY". NCHP EMPLOYED THE PROMOTORA MODEL IN PERFORMING OUTREACH, TRANSPORTATION, AND PREVENTION/EDUCATION CONTACTS, AND CONTRACTED WITH THE OTH MEDICAL GROUP TO VACCINATE ADULTS AND CHILDREN. NCHP PROPOSED TO HRSA TO VACCINATE 19,554 INDIVIDUALS AND PROVIDE 39,053 PREVENTION/EDUCATION CONTACTS. NCHP VACCINATED 29,340 INDIVIDUALS, AND HAD TOTAL PREVENTION/EDUCATION CONTACTS OF 57,071. OVERALL 9.8% OF THE VACCINATIONS WERE CHILDREN AND 90.2% WERE ADULTS WITH 71.8% VACCINATED IDENTIFYING AS HISPANIC.
