NCIRE is a nonprofit research institute that supports biomedical research conducted by UCSF faculty at the San Francisco VA Health Care System. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of Veterans and the general public by developing novel treatments and prevention strategies. NCIRE also trains future generations of researchers in Veterans' health.
