KIWANIS CLUB OF LITCHFIELD SERVICE FUND

Builds leadership and service capacity among youth by supporting Kiwanis’ Service Leadership Programs, including strategic planning and program development.

Develops youth leaders and service volunteers by supporting Kiwanis’ Service Leadership Programs and their strategic initiatives.

Supports various Service Leadership Programs (SLP) clubs, including K-Kids, Builder’s Clubs, and Key Clubs, in schools and communities, and develops leaders and service volunteers through these programs. This includes forming new clubs and providing ongoing support.

Provides ongoing support to multiple Key Clubs, Builder’s Clubs, and K-Kids chapters in the West Valley, including at high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools, as well as homeschool programs.

Provides direct support to multiple Key Clubs, Builder’s Clubs, and K-Kids chapters in high schools, middle schools, elementary schools, and homeschool programs across the West Valley, including in Surprise, Avondale, and Litchfield Park, AZ. Three homeschool-focused clubs earned Diamond Level Distinguished Club awards for two consecutive years.

Provides ongoing support to multiple Key Club, Builder’s Club, and K-Kids chapters in the West Valley, including schools such as Millennium High School, Verrado Middle School, and Litchfield Elementary, with recognition of high-performing clubs at the international level.

Hosts omelette and breakfast events for community members, school staff, and military personnel, including events at Luke Air Force Base, Avondale Senior Center, Avondale Community Center, and for the Litchfield Elementary School District Food Service Department and teachers at Mabel Padgett Elementary School.

Hosts omelette and breakfast events for teachers, food service staff, airmen, seniors, and community members at locations including Mabel Padgett Elementary, Luke Air Force Base, Avondale Senior Center, and Avondale Community Center.

Hosts and sponsors community events such as a Fourth of July celebration, organized races, and breakfast programs for teachers, school staff, students, seniors, and military personnel, including omelette stations at various locations.

Engages in efforts to address iodine deficiency disorders as a preventable cause of mental health issues.

Organizes and sponsors community events such as a Fourth of July celebration at the New Life Center and a "Kiwanis Santa" initiative to support children in the West Valley during the holidays.

Organized a race event on February 26, 2022, in Litchfield Park, Arizona, starting and ending at the Litchfield Park Recreation Center.

Provides support to adult service clubs for individuals with disabilities, including the Avondale Aktion Club and The Opportunity Tree Aktion Club.

Provides college scholarship opportunities for students as part of its 2026 programming.
