OUR VOLUNTEER GUEST HOUSE, LA HACIENDA FELIZ, OFFERS ACCOMMODATIONS FOR UP TO 60 VOLUNTEERS, PROVIDING THEM WITH A CULTURALLY RICH AND IMMERSIVE MEXICAN EXPERIENCE. VOLUNTEERS PARTICIPATE IN BUILDING HOMES, FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS, AND INTERACTIVE VISITS TO DOG SHELTERS, AN ORPHANAGE AND MIGRANT SHELTER. STAYS OFFER TRANSPORTATION AND GUIDED TOURS.
- #2 $23KVECINOS IN 1999, RANCHO FELIZ CONSTRUCTED A 3 ACRE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMUNITY CALLED "VECINOS DIGNOS SIN FRONTERAS" (WORTHY NEIGHBORS WITHOUT BORDERS). THIS VISIONARY NEIGHBORHOOD HAS 42 HOMES AND HOUSES APPROXIMATELY 150 PEOPLE. VECINOS WAS DEVELOPED TO PROVIDE FAMILIES IN AGUA PRIETA, MEXICO AN AFFORDABLE AND SAFE PLACE TO LIVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD INCLUDES AN ONSITE CHILDCARE FACILITY, EDUCATION CENTER, PLAYGROUNDS AND SPORTS COURTS. ALL RESIDENTS COMPLETE VOLUNTEER HOURS AND HELP SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY AND BEYOND THROUGH VARIOUS INITIATIVES.
